With great pleasure we invite you to be part of the 46th edition of the All India Cell Biology Conference (AICBC2024), hosted by Advanced Centre of Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, Navi Mumbai during January 10-12, 2024.

A cell, the structural and functional unit of any living organism on earth, represents a central topic of research. For various aspects of biological science including disease biology of microbes, plants and animals, understanding of how a cell functions continued to be a developing story. It involves the study of the collective behaviour of a great number of interacting macromolecules, while the study of the structure-function relationship requires both observational as well as quantitative estimations of a large number of key factors. By intermixing strengths of research methodologies across disciplines, major advances in our understanding of development, tissue homeostasis, immunity and infection as well as disease pathologies including cancer has greatly enhanced. The future challenges in the field of Cell Biology encompass enhanced integration of research models and methodologies based on multi-dimensional and interdisciplinary approaches that combine the expertise coming from different disciplines.

Therefore, the objective of this meeting is to bring together scientists and researchers across disciplines who are working at the frontiers of cell biology applications and the mechanisms underpinning them. This conference will provide an admirable platform for exchanging scientific and research ideas for Group Leaders, Scientists, Young Investigators, Graduate and Post-graduate Research Scholars, and Students from colleges, universities and research institutes across countries.

Indian Society of Cell Biology (ISCB) welcomes you to participate in its upcoming annual conference in January 2024 at ACTREC! This conference will be a in person meeting for its attendees and the society encourages all non-member participants to become a member of the society.

Young investigators and research scholars are highly encouraged to use this opportunity to present their scientific findings or exchange ideas to the wider scientific community and interact with the pioneers in the field of Cell Biology research.
